So lets start we know JPG,PNG,GIf  are popular images formats for sharing screen capture on web.also there is another format called BMP but not more used for capture screenshots.i think you are getting bored lets came on the topic.

Text And Clip Art:If you are capturing text (like a block of source code or Google search pages or a navigation menu), always use GIF or the PNG format – the screenshots are clear and file size remains pretty low.

Regular Desktop Window: If you need to screen capture a regular window on your screen, dialog boxes, Windows Explorer, DOS command prompt window, Google Maps or even splash screens – use the PNG format.


Videos & Photographs – If you doing a still image screenshot of a video (YouTube Flash video player), Google Earth, video games, Flash animations, desktop wallpapers or photographs (like Flickr) – always go with JPG instead of PNG because the image file size would be smaller without much degradation in the quality.

How to Install VLC 2.0 on Linux Ubuntu 11.10

VLC is the most popular media player, and every one wants to use it. but some time it is harder to install in Linux so Toda, I will show you how to install VLC (VideoLAN) 2.0 media player in Ubuntu 11.10.
VLC 2.0 also incorporates better support for Android and iOS devices, providing new audio and video outputs and faster hardware decoding.

Steps to Install

1. First of all open Linux Terminal.
2. Copy and paste the following command in the terminal window,
                   sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/vlc

3. Enter your password when asked and hit the Enter key.

4. Then copy and paste the following command in the terminal window,
              sudo apt-get update

5. Close the terminal.
6. Click here to Install VLC 2.0. In a few seconds, the Ubuntu Software Center application will open. Click the “Install” button as shown below,
7. Now wait for the VLC 2.0 media player to be downloaded and installed on your Ubuntu machine. 


Note: You can add VLC 2.0 shortcut icon on the Unity Launcher by clicking the “Add to Launcher” button.

The top table, under “Recent Activity,” indicates all open sessions, along with IP address and “access type” — which refers to how email was retrieved, for example, through iGoogle, POP3 or a mobile phone. You can also view your current IP address at the very bottom of this window, where it says “This computer is using IP address“
With this information, you can check your Gmail Account Activity, and Know that your Gmail Account Hacked or not by tracking the Login Time, Browser Type and IP Address.

Should not be your birthday like Aug1990.

Trick to create animated GIFs on Android

If you want to share movies from your Android phone, making and sharing a quick animated GIF instead is definitely a better option than sharing the whole movie because it will consume a lot of your monthly bandwidth.

An animated GIF can be made using GIF Droid . A video can be taken and turned into an animated GIF that you can send to anyone in seconds.

First install GIF Droid from the Android Market, and then open the application (app).
Now follow these 4 simple steps:

1  Click on the:
a) Select Video button. This will open your gallery to select a video.

OR

b) Record Video button. This will open your phonecamera to record a video.

2 The section of the video you want to convert into an animated GIF can be chosen through sliding the grey bars at the start and end. Now click the Next button present at the extreme end of the screen.

3 To reduce the size of animation through cutting out unwanted sections, select frames from the video you would like to use. Now click on the Create GIF button at the extreme right end of the screen to pin down the project.

a) Preview your GIF and share by hitting the Share button (which is the second last button on the left side of the screen).

b) You can also rename the GIF by clicking the Rename button (which is the second last button on the right side of the screen).

c) You can make another GIF by tapping the Create another button from the extreme right end of the screen.

 d) You can even delete the one you just made by pressing the Delete GIF button from the extreme left end of the screen.

How to Transfer Contacts, Photo, Music and Data from iPhone to Android

iPhone to Android Phone? Yeah!! iphone is awesome but does not compatible with other phones. Apple continuously working on it but still apple some time sucks.... If you have iPhone and wanna send data on android phone, So don,t worry it was not so difficult task. With simple steps you can transfer all your data from iPhone to Android. So here the 5 steps which will help you to transfer contacts, photos, music from iPhone to Android.

 Steps to transfer

Step 1. Google/Gmail account

First step is to Open a Gmail account, go to your Android device Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync > Add Account > Google. If you don’t have a Google account yet, create the new one here or You can use your existing Google Account. Follow the on-screen instructions to associate your Gmail account with your new phone.

Step 2. Sync Contacts

Now move to your iPhone and connect it your PC and launch iTunes. Click on your iPhone’s name, then head to the Info tab at the top (See the Screenshot Above) . Check “Sync Address Book Contacts”, then check “Sync contacts with Google Contacts”. Click Configure and enter the same account information you just configured on your Android device (On Step 1 ). Click Apply and allow the iPhone to sync.

Step 3. Calendar and Notes

Now time to Sync Calendar and Notes. Now go to your iPhone Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. You can Find the You existing Gmail Account here, If the Gmail account you’re using with your Android (On Step 1) isn’t here, add it by going to Add account > Gmail. Now go back to the Mail settings, tap the Gmail account, and turn syncing on for Calendars and Notes. Within a few minutes, your calendar will transfer to your Android device. Notes will be sent to your Gmail account and filed under a label called Notes.

Step 4. Photos and videos

For Photos and Videos you have to Connect your iPhone to computer. Open My Computer, right-click your iPhone icon there and select Explore. Drag and drop all the photos and videos to a new folder on your Desktop. And Now Move all this data to You Android Device by connecting it to Computer.

Step 5. Music

Keep your Android device connected. On your computer, find the Android’s Music folder (if it doesn’t exist, create one), and then drag and drop music files from your hard drive to your Android drive, which will put them on the device.

Rumor : CNN To Buy Mashable For $200+ Million

CNN is rumored to announce a major deal this week. A blogger who started one of the world's biggest social media websites from his Scottish bedroom because it was 'something to do without getting out of bed' is set to become a multimillionaire amid the likely sale of the site to U.S. news giant CNN for $200million. 

The whole web is noisy with that hearsay that the most popular news site is about to make an acquisition of Mashable by paying over 200+ million.If the hearsays is true, than these turns come out to be the greatest ever known tech news acquisition for such a huge money. Both the teams have refused to discuss this fast spreading hearsay. Until any site makes it official announcement, this information continues to be a mere hearsay and leaves both the fans with much anticipation to hear the official announcement.

The New York Times confirmed on Monday that CNN was in advanced talks to acquire the website, but reported that network representatives denied a deal would be announced on Tuesday. The Times also reported that sources familiar with the situation advised it could fall through.

CNN currently uses some of Mashable's stories in syndication on CNN.com. Multiple news outlets have reported that the division of Time Warner would purchase the website for roughly $200 million. 

Mashable covers everything browsing from funny YouTube videos to the latest released gadget in the tech world.Mashable founder by Pete Cashmore in the year 2005, the site is ranked at 202 in Alexa Rank, and also Mashable getting attracts over 20 million page views every month.

According to the website, Mashable has 20 million unique vistors per month and 4 million social media followers. Mashable was founded in 2005 by Pete Cashmore in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The company is headquartered in New York City and has additional offices in San Francisco.

CNN may do a better job, if they let Mashable be what Mashable is rather than try to force it into new and uncomfortable shapes. But major news organisations trying to sprinkle themselves with tech-startup stardust often end up looking like a dad borrowing their teenage kid's iPod for an office party. CNN now has access to a moneyed, educated, cool young audience. Now they just have to do something with it.
